We have implemented One-Push-Reset function for some batteries based on this chip in new BE2Works 3.00 (Cavite) USB version. Any tips and clues on how to fix batteries based on M37512 with BE2Works 2.85 version? ![]() Re: M37512 by admin » Tue 8:35 am AlenDelon wrote:Thanks for sending me 2.85 for testing. dreadlord988 Posts: 39 Joined: Fri 2:59 pm Re: M37512 by dreadlord988 » Sun 4:31 pm it's working. Re: M37512 by admin » Sun 4:06 pm If your battery has SYSTEM_PRESENT pin then connect it to GND to open FETs. Also you must to remember that M37512 DataFlash has only 1000 rewrite cycles for blocks B and A and only 100 rewrite cycles for blocks 0,1,2 and 3. But you must to remember that in this case you'll loose board offset calibration and measurements will be less accurate. If the methods above don't work but your donor battery is exactly the same as recipient then If the method above doesn't help then you need to find dump from the similar but working battery and rewrite blocks B and A with it. You need just press Write button and check B and A check boxes then proceed writing. You can fix many batteries just simply rewriting blocks B and A with FF. Always save the original dump before you start fixing M37512. Actually you can start fixing the batteries without waiting for Reset function. Also we'll implement One-Push-Reset function for known batteries. In full version you can rewrite each block individually. Dump file structure must be equal for all the batteries. Re: M37512 by admin » Wed 8:52 pm The software reads whole memory of M37512 to implement dump files compatibility. Dump structure: Block B offset = 0000h /Dynamic battery data Block A offset = 0800h /Dynamic battery data Block 3 offset = 1000h /Program area Block 2 offset = 5000h /Program area Block 1 offset = 9000h /Static battery data Block 0 offset = B000h /Program area Attachments BE2Works.2.82.2.demo.zip (2.43 MiB) Downloaded 1445 times Read/Write operations are about 55 seconds with verification. ![]() ![]() M37512 by admin » Wed 2:43 am Here is new version of BE2Works Demo.
